A downloadable game

My debut on the PlayDate console was somewhat unconventional. When I started working on the game, I didn't have the device yet. I developed the project based on available information about the specifications and capabilities of the console.

Upon receiving the PlayDate console, it was time to see how my game performed on real hardware. I encountered some performance issues – the game ran a bit sluggishly, especially during intensive sequences with fullscreen graphical effects. This prompted me to address the optimization of the game to achieve smooth gameplay. Fortunately, I quickly managed to optimize the game to a level that met my expectations. Now, the game runs smoothly, maintaining a stable 30 frames per second. This experience taught me how crucial optimization is for effective work on consoles, as well as the importance of adapting the project to the hardware specifications on which it will run.

Hi!
Thanks a lot for the game, very easy and enjoyable puzzle game.
I like it very much!

I have one question and I noticed one bug.

Is it possible to go back to previous difficulty levels? Reset the game progress without going into the console settings?

When you press the B button or twist the crank to cancel an action when you haven't done any action yet, PlayDate crashes and asks me to restart the console.

Good luck with your game development!

Hi!

I fixed the error. You can delete the save on the title screen by pressing the menu button and selecting the "reset save" option.

I also added the option to choose the level. On the title screen, after completing the first round, press menu button and the option to choose will appear. Once selected, press the menu button again, and if you choose 'start,' you will play that round.

New version is available to download.
